I create and live my life in a unique way.
Hi, this is ChingYa
I'm a UX/UI Designer based in Chicago, IL

With a master's degree in Human Computer Interaction. I like to design products with a human-centered approach. Being a problem solver rocks!
What makes me unique as a UX/UI Designer?
My bachelor's degree in Information Management and research experience using programming language established my logical thinking and the ability to collect and analyze data. Project management experience strengthened my cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. Being a teacher for two years cultivated my public speaking ability and the chance to practice empathizing with other people. I love the power of technology and the beauty of design. I’m also a person who likes the interaction with people, which brings me to design delightful experiences for users with their feedback.
For me, a good design isn’t merely about visual attraction, but rather, a way to satisfy users with a great experience. It’s a way to complete my target audience’s goals by understanding the needs from their perspectives.
I enjoy traveling a lot and also coffee time with casual chats or idea-sharing.

What I like about UX design?
I’m amazed by the power of how technology works to make things function. I feel excited to know why the UI, applications, or systems are designed in a specific way. Conducting user researches and asking the right questions can help me find a new design idea and the reason to choose that idea. It’s good to have data back up the design solutions. It’s fascinating to implement design ideas through visualization and prototyping. Moreover, the process of design iterations through interacting with the potential users makes improvements possible and the final products more complete. I really enjoy having conversations with people because each time I can discover something new and unexpected.
I believe UX Design can bring satisfaction to people's lives, which makes me happy.
